Buy New or Re-Upholster?

Many customers wonder whether to buy new furniture or re-upholster what they already have. As a guide, re-upholstering with us typically costs about two-thirds of purchasing a new piece. Whether it’s the right choice depends on the quality of your furniture and whether you’d like to keep it for years to come.

To help you decide, we’re happy to provide a free quote, including fabric costs, so you can compare options easily. Whatever you choose, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Buying New and Getting Rid of the Old Furniture

The resale value of older furniture, especially pieces needing re-upholstery or repairs, is often quite low and may not be worth trading in. If you decide to purchase new furniture from us and your old piece is still in reasonable condition, we’d be happy to collect it upon delivery and donate it to not-for-profit organisations such as the Red Cross to help someone in need.
